1. Save the zip file to your computer
2. Unzip it
3. View the articles and images
4. Choose the ones you like best and start using them!

UNZIP BASICS
Your articles and images are delivered inside a zip file attached to an email message. You will need to save the file to your computer and then unzip it to view the contents.

Many computers come pre-installed with software to unzip files.

To find out if you already have unzip software, either:

1. Right click on the zip file icon and look for words such as “extract” or “unzip”.
2. Do a search of your program files folder for the word “zip”

To learn how to use your unzip software, you’ll need to look for the documentation or help section that comes with the software. You can also visit YouTube and search for “NAME OF PRODUCT unzip tutorial” and will most likely find some help.

If you want your GhostPoster to post content on your practice’s Facebook Fan Page you will need to give him/her Admin access. This video shows how to designate another person as an administrator for your business Fan Page without giving out your personal Facebook login. Following this process also makes it easy to remove the GhostPoster’s access at a later date without having to change any passwords.

When you are logged in to Facebook using your personal account, you’ll see a small link in the footer of every page that says “Create a Page”. Click on this link and then choose Local Business or Place.

Fill in the Practice Name, Address and Phone number. Choose the correct category – most likely Health/Medical/Pharmacy

Congrats! Your page has been created. Follow Facebook’s guided set-up to add text and images and get your first few fans.

When you leave your page and want to find it again, you’ll see it under Pages in the left hand menu of your personal wall.

After the Page is created, you may want to assign another person to help administer the page. First you need to ask that person to “Like” your page. After they do you’ll we able to promote them to be a Page administrator. This allows other people to help you build your business page without giving out your personal Facebook login.

NOTE: As you can tell from the picture, Facebook is not a primary marketing method for PracticeLight. That said, we’d be very happy if you liked our page.

Lastly, you’ll want to quickly get your first 25 fans in order to qualify for a vanity URL. When you first create a new Page it will have a URL with a bunch of numbers at the end like http://www.facebook.com/pages/PracticeLight/169637233083688

After you have 25 fans, you can request a shortened link without the numbers such as http://www.facebook.com/AndreaKroppEntrepreneur

In Facebook’s vocabulary, what you are really doing is sharing a link. The full text of the article is not posted on Facebook. The full text resides on your website. You’ll use Facebook to share a link to the content making it easy for people to click over to your website.

Remember always that the goal of your internet marketing is to turn your website into the central hub and constantly bring visitors in (and back) to read and learn on your site where you can control and guide their experience.
